  1. He just says he is Danish. I actually like that kind of patriotism. I wish we had that in the US a little more.

  2. Why would a third country people wish to live in Denmark. They r better off staying in their own country.

  3. On top of countries all having their own pros and cons, there's also the fact that people can like and dislike different things. One person may find something a pro while someone else might see it as a con. An obvious difference between the USA and Denmark would be gun ownership for example, a lot of Americans probably see their right to own guns as a positive thing but most Danes don't, we see it as crazy.

As a Dane myself I can't think of anywhere I'd rather live though. I'd love to visit all sorts of different countries but so far I haven't found one I'd rather live in than Denmark. Some of our neighboring countries are extremely similar to ours though so I'm sure I'd be just as happy there but I see no point in moving to another country just to get more of the same. Then I may as well just stay here and avoid the trouble of settling somewhere new.

Obviously there are things I'd like us to have here but they just don't make up for the good things that we do have here in my opinion. I'd have to give up quite a lot to move somewhere with better weather for example, it'd come as a large cost as I'd miss out on a lot of positive things from Denmark just for getting better weather.

So is Denmark the perfect place to live for Vietnamese people? I don't think a perfect place exists for any large group of people. Some of them will love it and others won't, that goes for every country on the planet I think.
Denmark is a wealthy country with a lot of social programs, a lot of free (tax paid) stuff etc. so it's a nice and relatively easy life in a quite safe country, both when it comes to violent crime etc. but also safe as far as natural disasters and stuff like that is concerned. 🙂

  4. I'm half- Vietnamese half Russian. I was always wondering what do people feel and think when they live in 2 words at the same time as me. I was searching for people like me or Vietnamese who was born abroad. I met them a lot in Europe and in Asia. But when I ask MOST of them NEVER think about that. Exactly like a girl on this video or a small boy.
They just lead an ordinary and steady life without any deeper thinking or analyzing how unique and lucky they are to have a chance be on 2 sides at the same time.

I was in Denmark (in Vejle and Aarhus) staying at Vietnamese-Danish family (mum's friends) and kids thought I'm strange cuz I asked about what they never thought and obviously they think it's dull.
I presumed I was the only who think about it since I was 5 years old.
Thanks Kyle! Now I'm sure I'm not the only on this planet, haha)
