The University of Texas beat Rice 36-26  on Saturday to win the inaugural Southwest Conference rugby crown. Texas Tech beat St. Ed’s in Austin 34-22 to win D-II. According to this story in Rugby Mag, the Red Raiders believe they should be in the Longhorns’ position. Both teams move on to national playoffs.
